The APM VBS-3/8 is a continuous vertical band sealer designed to seal products weighing 1 lb or more, without the need for an integrated conveyor. This portable unit is mounted on an adjustable 4-foot-high pedestal, allowing it to be positioned over existing production lines or conveyors.

The model is USDA-approved and produces trimless airtight seals in widths of 1/8 inch, 1/4 inch, or 3/8 inch. It works with a wide range of heat-sealable materials and features high-strength laminated Teflon bands to ensure durability and consistency.

It operates at speeds of up to 45 feet per minute, with an ultra-quiet gearmotor and PID Autotune digital temperature control, ensuring uniform sealing at temperatures of up to 450°F, ±2°F. Its design is completely compressed-air-free, making installation and maintenance easier.
