Product Description

The APM VBS-1/8TX is a continuous vertical band sealer with an integrated trimmer system, ideal for sealing bags with a clean top trim while removing waste through a vacuum system with trim accumulator. It is equipped with an internal pull belt system for products up to 1 lb and mounted on an adjustable 4-foot-high stand, allowing it to adapt to the operator’s ergonomics or production line requirements.

It produces airtight seals of 1/8”, 1/4”, or 3/8” at speeds of up to 540 inches per minute, 45 fpm. With a 5-inch sealing zone and 5-inch cooling zone, it is ideal for working with demanding materials. The PID digital temperature control maintains consistent heat up to 500°F, ±2°F, helping ensure seal quality even with complex films.

It includes an ultra-quiet gearmotor, high-strength laminated Teflon bands, and chrome- and nickel-plated assemblies for greater durability. In addition, the unit requires no compressed air, simplifying operation and installation.
